The Vallarta line was designed by Ricardo Legorreta for the Camino Real hotel in Puerto Vallarta, which included chairs, tables, consoles, stools, and barstools. The line was a success upon the opening of the hotel, and soon Legorreta’s firm was developing custom-made pieces for homes. The seating from this line is of set dimensions, with small variations allowed occasionally regarding height. The chair is perhaps the most iconic piece, as it displays the most elegant elements of the Vallarta line, with thick cone-shaped legs and a palm-woven seat and backrest. We acquired the rights to fabricate these iconic pieces at Clásicos Mexicanos in 2019, and have been collaborating with Legorreta studio, now run by his son Víctor, every time a new, unique design is commissioned by our customers.
